Visiting from Virginia, we had the chipotle mushrooms and they did not disappoint! Also had the jalapeno burger, the vegetarian burger and the ahi tuna salad. We all cleaned our plates! Fantastic fun atmosphere with great food and drinks! Also had a wide variety of patrons!

Love this place. Huge portions and really tasty food. Also have a great selection of rotating taps. The chicken strips are super tasty (I know, chicken strips?? But they're really good!), so are the coconut shrimp, although I wish they had a marmalade sauce for them instead of the curry dip. Just an FYI, the mushroom app is just straight up sautéed whole mushrooms, not fried mushrooms. Still really good though.

2 days ago I posted this very negative review with only 1 star. Since then I have had a couple of exchanges with the owner and it's clear he takes how his customers are treated very seriously. I'm positive now, and I was pretty certain then, that this server was not trying to take advantage of me. I thought I had a dispute with restaurant policy but it's clear that this was not the case. I would prefer now to characterize the incident as a unfortunate misunderstanding.Very disgusted with the bartenders policy of not giving full change. The beer said $5.50 on the menu board. She brought $14.00 back out of a twenty. When I inquired she said they just "round up" so as not to have to give quarters back. Why don't they just admit they're going to charge you $6? I still left a dollar tip out of habit but regretted it as soon as I walked out. Anchor Bistro has the dubious honor of being the first Twin Falls business that I've identified to never patronize again.
